Eligibility Criteria for BSc Nursing Course

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years of age on or before the date specified by the competent admission authority.

Language Proficiency: Candidates should be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Bengali.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects, fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed by the admission authority.

Nationality & Domicile: Candidates must satisfy the nationality and domicile requirements prescribed by the Government of West Bengal and the concerned admission authority.

Medical Fitness: All candidates must be medically fit and produce a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of admission.

Selection Process: Admission to the B.Sc Nursing programme is conducted through the admission process and counselling procedure prescribed by the competent authority. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official admission portal for the latest eligibility criteria, entrance examination details, counselling schedule, and admission updates.

Registration: Upon successful completion of the programme and fulfillment of all academic requirements, graduates become eligible to apply for registration with the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC) as Registered Nurses in accordance with prevailing regulations.
